If you draw an Exploding Kitten and don't have a Defuse card, you're out of the game! Discard all your cards.
Defuse cards allow you to avoid exploding when you draw an Exploding Kitten. You must immediately play a Defuse card and then secretly re-insert the Exploding Kitten back into the deck anywhere you choose.
Generally, you can only play one card on your turn unless a card explicitly allows you to play more (like combos or certain special cards).
Recipes are card combinations that trigger special effects, adding a layer of strategy and unpredictability to the game.
